Our Church has a nursery available for ages birth through 3 years old. The Children’s Church ministry is currently studying through the The Lord’s Prayer. We offer 3 classes for the kids. The Primary Class is for 3 year olds (potty trained) through Kindergarten. The Middler Class is for 1st Grade through 3rd Grade, and the Junior Class is for 4th grade through 6th Grade. All 3 classes are following the same curriculum. Each class has a set of 3 teachers who take a 3 week rotation teaching. In January we will be starting a new 13 week study with our kids. All children are included in the adult Worship service and dismissed to classes just before the preaching begins.
Childrens’s Bible Quizzing is a saturation Bible Study designed specifically for kids in grades 1-6. Weekly quiz practices will be held on Mondays from 3:30-5:00 once the new season starts. There are two levels of competition, Red Level for grades 1-3 and Blue Level for grades 4-6. Quizzing requires time and effort, as well as parent involvement. Although ribbons and trophies may be earned, the most significant reward from participating in quizzing is a heart and mind filled with the Word of God! There are a total of four competitions throughout each quiz season. If you are interested in finding out more information about Children’s Bible Quizzing, please contact Rachel Crary at (775)224-7757.
AGAPE CHRISTIAN SCHOOL
The Fallon Church of the Nazarene is dedicated to providing a Christ centered education experience for the youth of Fallon. Agape Christian School will be using the Abeka curriculum to provide children with a quality education. Time in the word and relationship with Jesus are very important to Agape Christian School. As Christians and parents, we are responsible in teaching our children about the word of God and the importance of relationship with our Savior Jesus Christ. In the mornings we will begin with worship and a time in the word, followed by video led studies in their Abeka materials. After lunch, students will participate in hands on learning, including lessons provided by guest speakers, field trips, job/skill training, and community service projects. Our goal is to teach our children to be followers of Jesus in order to become Christ centered leaders in our community.
The 2019 School Year will begin September 3, 2019 - May 29, 2020.
School days - Monday-Thursday 8:00AM-3:00PM & Fridays 8:00AM-1:40PM.
