Out of Egypt was started in November of 2006 at the Fallon Church of the Nazarene. We were open 4 days a week and servicing 20-40 families each week. Our main source of food at that time was our local Safeway and the Reno Sparks Gospel Mission. Since that time, God has greatly increased both our ministry and our resourcing. Currently, Out of Egypt is open twice a week and services 325– 375 families per week from 9 different counties. God has greatly multiplied our supporters as well. We continue to receive from The Northern Nevada Food Bank, Safeway, The Reno Sparks Gospel Mission, and Wal Mart. Throughout the years, Out of Egypt has received donations of funds from various businesses and individuals, as well as donations of food products from private individuals, business, clubs, and schools. As our ministry has grown so also has our volunteer staff. Volunteers give time 4 to 5 days a week to help with pick up, unloading, set-up, serving on food pantry days, and clean-up. God has knit this ministry together. Apart from Him we can do nothing. We at Out of Egypt Food Pantry want to Give Thanks to God for His abundant supply as we just respond to His leading.
