Young Adults!

Attention all young married and single adults, save the date of Monday, September 1st (Labor Day).  We are planning a Potluck BBQ at the home of Chad & Nicole Plants in Carson City.  Bring your swimming gear and get ready for a time of fun and fellowship as we get to know each other better.

VBS was a powerful hit!

Thank you Tina Koenig and everyone else who helped during VBS in July.  You are all very much appreciated!  Because of your time and commitment, many children in our community were fed the Bread of Life.  Thank you for participating in the spreading of God’s Word to our children!

 

House Word Groups

Beginning in September and lasting throughout the school year, we are going to be starting house Word groups.  Each group will consist of several families committed to being in the Word.  Twice a month, each group will meet to share a meal together and discuss where each individual has been in the Word and what God has been teaching him/her.  This is intended to be a whole family event, and families are encouraged to bring every member of their household, from the youngest to the oldest.  We can all learn from and be encouraged by each other.  Each group will have the freedom to coordinate schedules in order to find a time and day that works best for the particular families within that group.  If you are interested in participating in a group such as this, please contact Pastor Paul.
